The center piece is the traditional Russian Orthodox icon displaying the Birth of Jesus. At the very top in small cyrilics it says: "The birth of our God Jesus Christ". All is in the mountain scene. Decorated with traditional armenian style border/frame.

"Jesus entering Jerusalem"

1994

This is taken from a traditional armenian miniature. Jesus on the donkey, followed by two apostoles, and greeted by people throwing their clothes under the donkey. Decorated with traditional armenian designs.

"Crucifixion"

1995

This is taken from a traditional armenian miniature. Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In the background, scriptures in Armenian language, as well as in the frame/border. This piece is much more detailed than pictured.
