- Rome adds 2nd VP to his conference role

Fellow ABANA members, it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce my resignation as your 2010 President. I think you will understand. About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, so far I have been able to maintain good health and I hope to continue to do so. I will remain as an active member of your Board of Directors for the remainder of my term.
The 2010 Conference will be where I will continue to spend my time and energy, doing both jobs for the first four months has been taking a toll on my health, thus my reluctant decision to step aside as your President.
I have served on your Board of Directors for almost three years now, 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President and one year as your President for 2009. There is a lot of work yet to be done and by conserving my energy I will be serving the best interest
of ABANA.
I would like to thank all of those members who have sent me your positive emails of appreciation for the service I have given to ABANA.
Sincerely,
Rome H. Hutchings
ABANA Board Member
