Heller Brothers produced a line of farrier equipment. Who much does this anvil weight? |

Hey Ken, thanks so much for the reply, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. The anvil is now in my hands and its turns out there is a upside down triangle with a C inside on the other face making it a Columbian Hardware company? It weighs about 128 lbs. I also have another anvil with the serial 27270 on the right side of the foot with a hourglass depression on the bottom. It has two pritchel holes and an upsetting bulge on the horn. I believe it to be a trenton but I'm not 100% sure, its quite a bit more worn. any ideas on date? Its around 116 lbs. |

What do you mean by right side of foot? Facing it or from the back, horn to front? |

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_vYhVefu0NqA/TASfPcNG5jI/AAAAAAAABFg/A6njHYtGo7A/EN311053.JPG as in the right side of the foot when looking straight on under the horn. There is the picture of the numbers. On second thought it might be a Hay Budden... Here is the hourglass impression photo http://lh4.ggpht.com/_vYhVefu0NqA/TASfQr5VBsI/AAAAAAAABFo/wI_mHNQPlns/EN311058.JPG |

Z followed by weight on one side, weight on the others, almost surely a Treanton made anvil. |
