Provided below are valuable links to find affiliates in your own area or how to start an affiliate. Every two months, the Affiliate Liaison Letter is posted as a communication tool between ABANA and the affiliates. ABANA provides grants for affiliates to bring demonstrators to area meets and conferences or other blacksmithing-related events that would promote the art and craft of blacksmithing. You can download the official application below!

ABANA Affiliate groups may use the ABANA web site to help publicize their major events.
First, we will run your banner ad in rotation with the others that have been submitted. The banner ad appears at the top of most ABANA web site pages. We need a .gif or .jpg file of a graphic that is 390 pixels wide by 57 pixels tall. Also we need a web address that the site visitor should be directed to when the banner ad is clicked on.
Also your events can be included in the blacksmithing events calendar that is on the web site. Just send us the information which should include the beginning and end dates and a short description - generally not more than 1/3 of a page. That can include links to your web site where the visitor may get more information.
The calendar that is published in the Anvil's Ring is another resource for publicizing your events. But you must plan ahead! The event information must reach the Editor 6 to 8 months before the event.
In all cases, the request should be directed to the ABANA Central office at
. Please indicate which of these resources you would like to engage so that they will direct your request appropriately.
ABANA Affiliates are independent organizations that are not agents of or subject to control by ABANA. An organization's status as an Affiliate does not indicate ABANA’s knowledge, approval or endorsement of the Affiliate's actions. ABANA is not responsible for the statements or behavior of its Affiliates or their or its individual members.
